Infrared Sauna 

Infrared saunas are a popular way to relax and detoxify the body. They use infrared light to heat the body directly, rather than heating the air around you. This can lead to a more intense sweat and a deeper detoxification experience. Many people find that regular use of an infrared sauna can help with a variety of health issues, including chronic pain, stress and skin conditions.

All clients will be required to sign a release form. Any client with medical conditions will have to consult with their doctor prior to booking a session and we may require a doctor's note.

Spa Etiquette/Precautions

• Clients who are using any medications must consult with a physician prior to the use of the sauna.

 

• Glass and open containers are not allowed in the sauna. (Steel is recommended)

 

• Extra hydration is very important before, after and during the sauna. Electrolytes and mineral supplements are recommended.

 

• One large towel must be used underneath you at all times.

 

• Use of electronics during your session may heat the device. Blue Sage is not responsible to any damage to electronics used in the sauna.

 

• Wearing jewelry in the sauna is not advised.

 

• Remove all footwear prior to entering the sauna

 

• If you choose to attend your session with friends or family, please keep conversations to a considerate volume. There are massages & other services going on in adjacent rooms.

 

• We suggest not to eat an hour prior to your sauna session.

 

• Its very important If you ever were to start feeling nausea, dizziness, or fatigue to immediately stop your session to cool and hydrate. Open the door to allow cool air to come in. Make sure to drink plenty water and reduce your time the next session.

 

• No one under the age of 16 is permitted in the infrared sauna.

 

• Sessions should be limited to no more than 30 minutes. Please keep temperature below 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

100-110 degrees for beginners is suggested.
